as drummer during the production of Paint by Number; to date he is the longest lasting member of 3, aside from Joey Eppard, appearing on every album released.
Prior to his work with 3
, Gartmann played drums in the band PEACEBOMB, who's most notable appearance was during the Woodstock '94 Festival in Saugerties, NY.
He also plays drums for the colclaborative 3
/ Coheed & Cambria side project known as Fire Deuce
, in which he goes by the name "Gart Deuce."
Chris started his music career playing with the famed college band "The Hybrids" out of Davis & Elkins College. Chris was only 15 years of age when he joined the group. He was also invloved with the local high school band "Strange Agent".
