Norby was born in Fullerton, California and continues to live in there with his son Alex. His community memberships include the First Presbyterian Church, Fullerton Chamber of Commerce, Fullerton Elks Club, and Sons of Norway, Buena Park Rotary Club.Chris Norby was married for the fourth time to Martha Phillips on July 20, 2009.
