The academy, which shares a 57 acre campus in Davidson and Williamson Counties with the church, began in a single building. In the 1994, CPA moved its high school into a new building adjacent to the original school. In 2010, CPA began construction on a new 85000 square feet (7,896.8 m²) high school facility (on the same campus) that opened in the fall of 2011.

In the school's early years, CPA's football team played home games at Bellevue Middle School. In the late 1990s, the school constructed an on-campus stadium to house the football program as well as boys' and girls' soccer. The stadium has been given the nickname "the Den."
