Because of a funding problem, the film had to shut down just a couple of weeks into filming. When they were able to start up again a few months later, Fortune was one of the boys who had experienced a growth spurt and all scenes with them had to be re-shot. Despite the baseball plot in the film, Christian prefers to play football in real life.
During the filming Christian became not only a team mate, but also built up a friendship with fellow actor Jake T. Austin
. In their spare time the two boys enjoy producing and directing their own productions on YouTube, but Christian says he would much rather be acting.
