. She teamed up with Scottish ice dancer Mark Hanretty
on 31 December 2005. They are the 2008 & 2010 British bronze medalists
. They placed 18th at the 2009 European Figure Skating Championships
in Helsinki.
Together with Hanretty, Chitwood was ranked 3rd overall in the NISA National Rankings 2009/2010 which had been based upon the personal best scores achieved by the skaters during the 2009/2010 season.
Before competing in the Ice Dance discipline, Chitwood skated in pair skating
with her brother, Will Chitwood.
