Christoph Broelsch is a German surgeon

In 1991, Broelsch managed the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf. From 1998 until his suspension in 2007 Broelsch was Director of the Department of General and Transplant Surgery of the University Hospital Essen.

Broelsch, for his services in 1991 with the Federal Cross of Merit and in 2004, was awarded the Grand Cross of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany. In 2002 he received the Lucie-Bolte-price. Broelsch was the physician
