Chrome Matrix is the lesser known debut EP from Australian nu metal
band Superheist
, released by Cut-Throat / Shock Records in 1997 three years after their first demo (Apocalypse), of which two secret songs on the Ep originate from.
The Ep was recorded in mid to late 1996 by guitarist D.W. Norton and producer Mark Rachelle at Rhy, Victoria.
This particular Ep is said to have major value musically to fans and critics alike as it underlines Superheist's original sound and influence, being more death-metal based than later CDs.
