, it primarily caters to the pastoral needs of the Catholic community living in Subang Jaya, USJ and Putra Heights. Rev. Fr. Simon Labrooy is the first and current Parish Pastor.

The Church premises consists of 2 blocks - the Church proper and an administrative building (which houses the Parish Office, Parish Pastor's Office, and 2 floors with rooms used by Sunday School and various Ministry activities. The Parish Pastor's residence is at the top floor of the administrative building).

Capel Kurnia Kristus (CKK) was established and began a shoplot chapel in USJ11 in 1995. The response to the single Sunset Mass on each Saturday was so overwhelming that soon, a second Sunset Mass was instituted. Sunday School was operating from homes as well as the chapel.

As the size of the congregation continued to expand, the search for a permanent place of worship began in earnest. As a temporary measure, a multi-purpose private school hall in SS13 was used for Sunday and feast day masses from year 2000. Sunday School operated in 2 sites - one floor of Sekolah Seri Sedaya and a rented office block about 300m distance. This arrangement continued from 2000 until the present permanent place of worship was completed.

The Church of St Thomas More also provides pastoral care to the ever growing Catholic student population from the colleges and universities in Subang Jaya
