In recent years, average temperatures in the county seat of Louisville have ranged from a low of 21 °F (-6.1 °C) in January to a high of 89 °F (31.7 °C) in July, although a record low of -25 °F was recorded in January 1904 and a record high of 111 °F (43.9 °C) was recorded in July 1936.
