In the city the population was spread out with 23.1% under the age of 18, 7.5% from 18 to 24, 23.8% from 25 to 44, 23.6% from 45 to 64, and 22.0% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 42 years. For every 100 females there were 90.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 85.3 males.
The median income for a household in the city was $22,206, and the median income for a family was $30,792. Males had a median income of $24,750 versus $19,152 for females. The per capita income

Clinton is home to a large variety of turtles.
In 2011 Clinton residents noticed discolored water from their taps. Residents are currently waiting for the problem to be resolved.
