Cochranella antisthenesi is a species of frog
in the Centrolenidae family. Two common names are sometimes used to refer to this species: Rancho Grande Glass Frog and Aragua Glass Frog.
The systematic position of this species has recently changed. It was originally described under the genus Centrolenella (a genus now synonym of Centrolene) in 1963, it was later changed to the genus Hyalinobatrachium
in 1991, but currently it is placed in the genus Cochranella
. This is probably still paraphyletic, and since new systematics works on the phylogeny of Centrolenidae are in progress, the generic position of this species is expected to change again in the near future.
It is endemic to Venezuela
