The school occupies a former elementary school building. It is applying but has not yet received accreditation from the North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools. In the meantime, the college is partnering with Cameron University

in Lawton, and students are dually-enrolled.

The college submitted of the Preliminary Information Form (PIF) on March 22, 2011, which was accepted by the accrediting body. The college must complete a Self-Study and an on-site visit by the Commission to achieve accreditation.

The Oklahoma Board of Nursing recently approved of the college's two-year nursing program, making it the first approved tribal nursing program in the state. The program's director is Marsha Tahquechi.
