The group was founded in 2003, and works to motivate oncology practices to become politically active, and to increase awareness on Capitol Hill about the community cancer care delivery system. The group also works to bring together community oncology practices from across the country to help enhance their effectiveness and efficiency, and lobbies in the United States Congress
