artist from Philadelphia, USA. Starting in 1967, he is regarded as "father of modern graffiti". He is also known for writing his name on an elephant
at the Philadelphia Zoo
and on the side of the Jackson 5's private jet. His initial efforts in graffiti were based upon his love interest for a girl.
McCray is currently a social worker. A documentary titled "Cry of the City Part 1 - The Legend of Cornbread" was released in 2007.
