Explaining what lead her to write "Corporate Cannibal" Jones said that she was "very obsessed with the subject" and penned the lyrics with Marc van Eyck. Jones didn't want to release the record on a corporate label due to past disputes.

A limited number of 12" vinyl pressings of "Corporate Cannibal" were released as well as a promo-only CD.
