The single was written by Twitty, as well as some of the album's other tracks, such as "I'm Gettin' Tired of Losing You" and "I Changed My Way." The album also reached a peak of #1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart in 1974. The album was produced by MCA/Decca producer, Owen Bradley
