It is a rural community with only a few businesses to serve local residents and surrounding farmers. An "antenna farm" visible from Interstate 75 can be seen looking east which includes a cell phone tower, the transmitting towers of WFGF

located to the north in neighboring Fort Shawnee.
It is located about halfway between the cities of Lima
and Wapakoneta
and is adjacent to the village of Fort Shawnee
in Allen County
