Career
Odone edited The Catholic Herald from 1991-1995. She resigned as editor in 1996 in order to finish her second novel, A Perfect Wife. In 1996, she became the television critic for The Daily Telegraph, a position she held for two years. For six years Odone was a weekly columnist for The Observer, and she was deputy editor of The New Statesman between 1998 and 2004.
