Spencer and Doc have produced a TV-special on the band ("Rock N' Roll Dream"), showing the band's progression from four young boys in a garage to ending up in Rock Band and opening for Kiss, in front of 35,000 fans in Stockholm

They toured in the spring of 2009, appearing on the Ernie Ball side stage tour.
As of June 2010, frontman Forrest French, the Lead Vocalist and rhythm guitarist, parted ways with Crooked X, as did bassist Josh McDowell. The band, which has not performed since September 2009, has been auditioning new members.
