. It holds 7,774 people. It was renamed in 1971 after Curt Frenzel, club president of the Panther, who died in 1970.
It is unique in professional hockey, because to this day it is almost an outdoor arena, only covered by a roof, there are no walls. The Stadium has to be renovated, though, in order to comply with DEL regulations and will be walled in for the 2012/2013 DEL season.
