Cyberport is a creative digital community with a cluster of technology and digital content tenants. It is owned and managed by Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited which is wholly owned by the Hong Kong SAR Government
. With a vision to establish itself as a leading information and communications technology (ICT) hub in the Asia-Pacific region, Cyberport is committed to facilitating the local economy by nurturing ICT industry start-ups and entrepreneurs, driving collaboration to pool resources and create business opportunities, and promoting a digitally inclusive society through strategic initiatives and partnerships. Equipped with an array of state-of-the-art ICT facilities and a cutting-edge broadband network, the Cyberport community is home to four grade-A intelligent office buildings, a five-star design hotel, and a retail entertainment complex.
The Cyberport Digital Entertainment Incubation-cum-Training (IncuTrain) is the only incubation facility focusing on digital contents in Hong Kong. To help develop human capital and market, the Cyberport IncuTrain Centre collaborates with various organizations and platforms internationally to provide entrepreneurs with technology, training opportunities, business matching and networks support.
Cyberport is a hybrid of public ownership and commercial operation. Cyberport has the public missions to create a strategic cluster of quality ICT and ICT related companies so as to spearhead the development of the digital media & lifestyle and related industry in Hong Kong.
Three private and wholly owned companies, namely, Hong Kong Cyberport Development Holdings Limited, Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited and Hong Kong Cyberport (Ancillary Development) Limited (collectively referred to as the “Cyberport Companies”) have been set up under the Financial Secretary Incorporated (FSI) to oversee the implementation of the project.
The Cyberport also houses one of the incubation facility for technology startups called IncuTrain Centers providing office space, financial aid package, training and network access to the investment community. Incubatees have varied degrees of success.

However the management company neglected to omit 4 in naming the new phase but the Cantonese pronunciation of Phase 4 Say-kay (四期), sounds similar to Say-kay (死期), meaning death time.

Background
In 1999, the Hong Kong government announced the intention to develop the Cyberport which would help local businesses capitalize on the rapid growth of the Internet. Cyberport was intended as a place where the development of information technology and multimedia would be nurtured so that the demands of these industries could be met in the future. Bel-Air Residence
Bel-Air (貝沙灣) is a luxury residential development in Cyberport. The development is split in three phases - phases 4 and 5 are under construction; phase 1 and 2 are referred to Residence Bel-Air and Phase 3 is referred as Bel-Air on the Peak. Each phase has a clubhouse and 8 blocks that are about 48 floors tall. Floor 40 and upwards are flats that have the area of two flats combined into one, creating over 3200 square feet (297.3 m²). Transportation
The club runs a shuttle bus to and from Shun Tak Centre. The shuttle typically runs every half hour during commuting hours. The shuttle bus operates between all 4 current phases and experiences heavy loads during peak hours. The "Bel Air on the Peak" phase was initially advertised as operating its own shuttle to the Causeway Bay and Central region but did not have nor received the appropriate government approval when such sales advertisement was used. The Hong Kong Government has stop issuing private bus licenses since 2000 for Hong Kong Island and only after much work from the management company was there then a bus license issued in 2007 for a shuttle service to and from Shun Tak Centre.The Bel-Air can be reached by bus 30X from Central.
