CyBC announced in December 2009 that the Cypriot entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 will be selected through the singing competition of the new talent show, Performance. CyBC accepted applications from anyone between 16 and 30 years old. 13 weekly shows were held from 19 March 2010, with 39 contestants being selected by a jury consisting of Lia VissiLia Vissi
