On April 23, 2008 Steve Shannon announced he was leaving the show to pursue a career in Birmingham back in his home state of Alabama. Steve will be the morning news host on the Clear Channel station WERC 960 AM. As of May 2008, DC continued the syndicated show, renaming it "DC and the Family". The show had cast members like Lil' Bobby, Producer Anna.
