DIALREL was a project financed by the EU http://ec.europa.eu/research/biosociety/inco/pdf/ssa/dialrel.pdf
that was launched in 2006, and completed in 2010. Its aim was to promote dialogue between the various interested parties and stakeholders involved in the religious slaughter of animals. Institutions and experts from eleven countries contributed to the project, viz: Australia
