and later by Jamelia
, however only Jamelia's version was commercially released. It was produced by Soulshock and Kenneth Karlin.
"DJ" takes its main tune from Raymond Guiot's "Primitive Spirit"

The release was also the first DVD single release from Jamelia and it is rumoured that the DVD single was released because the "DJ" video was not finished in time to be added to the "Thank You - Live" DVD release. The single release also contained a cover of Wham's "Last Christmas
