Early life and career
DeWitt is a native Oklahoman. He was born in Blackwell, Oklahoma, January 17, 2011. His parents are the late Ed DeWitt and Ramona DeWitt. He is married to Carol Grell, and their children are Garrett DeWitt and Camille Holt. They have four grandchildren.He got an associate's degree from Northern Oklahoma College in 1970 and a B.S. in agriculture education from Oklahoma State University in 1973. He is a farmer/rancher and a retired teacher.
