As a part of the show, it was against the rules to date other cast members, a rule which Dan and Jaimee broke, costing both of them their part on the show. Jaimee was fired straight away (having her character 'deleted' by Ram), while Dan's character continued in the show until the end of his storyline, where he was 'deleted' too.
