 season, signing a 4 year deal with Wigan. His last game for the club was against Wigan in the final league match of the 2003 season. He said that the decision was "exceptionally difficult" but added: "I wish to make a totally clean break from Castleford and move with my family to the most famous and successful rugby league club in the world."

Despite some good performances towards the end of the 2006 season Wigan decided to allow Orr to leave Wigan, some reports suggested Orr did not want to leave Wigan but he was sold to Harlequins Rugby League on the 12th October 2006. Orr signed a three year deal with the Harlequins starting in 2007 and will be replaced at Wigan by Trent Barrett

 from 2011 after signing a one year deal. In July 2011, he signed a one year extension to his deal, keeping him at his homewtown club for the 2012 season.
