History
VIP Wings was established on May 23, 2000.In August 2008 operation started with ATR-72 aircrafts with the offer of regular transport to the general public. On November 13, 2008 company was assigned the V5 IATA code. On July 15, 2009 Danube Wings became a member of ERA (European Regions Airline Association).Regular lines, summer 2011

was involved in an incident when Slovak Police force hid 8 explosives in passengers luggage to test the airport's security systems. One of the explosives was later not revealed and was flown to Dublin.
