He competed in the qualifying rounds for the 2010 BDO World Championship

He produced an outstanding run to reach the final 2010 World Championship beating Darryl Fitton
, (number four seed) in the opening round and Tony West
in the second round. Having been 1-4 down to defending champion and number five seed Ted Hankey
, Chisnall produced a comeback to reach the semi finals 5-4. After losing the first two sets in the semi-final against top seed Tony O'Shea
, he came back again to win 6-3 and reached his first World Championship final, where he was defeated 7-5 by Number 3 seed and Masters

as a result of his World Championship final, winning his first match against Simon Whitlock

Q School in January 2011. He won a PDC tour card on the first day of the Q School, joining Shaun Griffiths

as newcomers to the PDC in 2011. He played in his first PDC event in Halle Germany and hit a 9 dart finish but went on to lose to the championship's runner up Vincent van der Voort
in a close 6-5 game. In the second Player Championship in Germany, he again went out in the second round again losing 6-5. In the Derby Pro tour events he reached the quarter final and was defeated by eventual champion Jamie Caven
6-3 earning £1000. On day 2 of the Derby championships he again reached the quarter final this time losing out to Wes Newton
6-4. He reached the quarter finals of day one of the UK Open qualifiers winning £1000 for his efforts On day 2 of the qualifiers he reached the final, picking up £3000 in a loss to an on form Michael Smith
and ensuring a spot in the UK Open finals. He competed in the Crawley players championship and lost to Wes Newton 6-4 in a tight match.
He hit his second 9 dart finish of the pro tour season in the 7th UK open qualifier.
In the Eddie Cox memorial Players Championship in Barnsley he reached the Semi Finals after defeating Dennis Ovens, Mark Walsh and John Part
before a subsequent defeat to Paul Nicholson
6-5 after missing 5 darts for the match.
The following day in the Bobby Bourn Memorial Players Championship he got to the final before being beaten by Andy Smith
by 6 legs to 2. On his way to the final he overcame Michael Rosenauer
in straight legs before beating Mervyn King 6-4. He then beat Co Stompe
before whitewashing Simon Whitlock
6-0. In the last 16 he beat Wayne Jones
6-3 before narrowly beating Mark Hylton
6-5 in the last 4 before losing to Andy Smith
to earn himself £3000 and ensuring himself a spot in the 2011 World Matchplay. He lost in the first round of the 2011 World Matchplay
3-10 against Mark Walshwhich saw him break into the top 50 in the order of merit. He reached the second round of the European darts championship defeating Jelle Klaasen
in the first round and losing to a high scoring Adrian Lewis
10-5. He reached the Quarter finals of the third nulland players chamionships and lost to runner up Colin Lloyd
after having three match darts. On day two of the championships he reached the final after defeating Steve Hine

He continued his stunning floor form with his first PDC title win of the season defeating Justin Pipe 6-4.
