Dave Esser

Edward David "Dave" Esser (born 20 June 1957) is an English-born footballer who played as a midfielder in the Football League in the 1970s and 1980s.
He started as a trainee with Everton
in 1975 but did not play a senior game for them and moved to Rochdale
in July 1977, going on to make 199 senior appearances for them (scoring 27 goals). He left Rochdale in the 1981/82 season and went to play for APOEL F.C. in Cyprus.
He also played for Macclesfield Town and Ashton United.
