David Grant CBE
, FREng, FIET is the Vice-Chancellor of Cardiff University

Prior to his appointment at Cardiff University, Dr Grant was Director of Technology at GEC plc (1991–2001) and was awarded the Mensforth International Gold Medal by the Institution of Electrical Engineers
