for the University of North Carolina at Charlotte
and was selected by the New York Knicks
with the 9th pick of the 2nd round (38th overall) of the 1998 NBA Draft
. In his brief NBA career he played in five games for the Knicks in the 1999–2000 season
, registering 6 points and 7 rebounds.
