In special episodes, there are one or more of the following kinds of changes:
In addition, "Double Deal Week" took place from 12 June to 17 June 2006. This was a week which contained two episodes of "Deal or No Deal" per day.
on 31 October. Two shows were broadcast, a normal episode at 5:55pm, and an hour-long anniversary special at 8pm. The special opened with Jon Culshaw
impersonating Edmonds, as he had previously done in the BBC Two
programme, "Dead Ringers
".
Before any boxes were opened, The Banker called and said that he wanted to make sure that he had the right "Noel" as Culshaw and Edmonds were almost identical with their matching outfits. The Banker also said that if the 1p was found in the first round, then he would give £250 to each contestant and a bottle of champagne to each member of the audience, as he had offered before in the 250th show. David Jones, the player, found the 1p in the second box.
At each break Culshaw did the voiceover for the viewer's competition, along with Alex Lovell
. The first and third breaks heard Culshaw's impersonations of George W. Bush
, with Ozzy Osbourne
in the second. Glitter
came down from the set to end the show.
In the game itself, the player, David Jones, was left with £10,000 and £250,000 on the game board in the closing stages. The Banker's final offer was £70,000 and Edmonds explained to Jones that the Banker was "testing his skill", as many would expect a higher offer in this position. Jones decided not to take the risk and dealt. In the event, his box contained £10,000.

During these Christmas specials, one of the boxes contained £500,000, with the £15,000 box being removed for this purpose, therefore doubling the value of the top prize. The two players selected for these shows were chosen by the contestants themselves in a vote; footage of the contestants finding out they would be playing for £500,000 was shown.
The Banker also promised that when the player was down to the last 4 boxes, he would make them an offer after each of the remaining boxes was opened.
For the episode in the afternoon of 26 December, the 1p box was removed and replaced with a box containing "PEANUTS". Peanuts
were also the reward for people offering good advice. In this show, the Banker also offered items of food in addition to cash offers. Each offer that he gave to the players consisted of an amount of money and then a Christmas-related item of food, such as Satsumas
, a turkey sandwich and some stuffing.
In the episodes on the afternoon of 25 December and the evening of 26 December, the Banker gave offers that included a choice of three gifts under the Christmas tree. In the first, the contestant won an extra £1,000 and a weekend for two in Paris
, (the other gift that was not won was a pair of the Banker's underpants). In the second, the contestant won an extra £10,000 and another two pairs of the Banker's underpants.
Red Nose Day 2007

" did a spoof of "Deal Or No Deal", featuring Noel Edmonds
and Catherine Tate
as her character Joannie "Nan" Taylor
. In the sketch
, Nan played a game of "Deal or No Deal", in which she uncovered the five highest amounts in the first five boxes, blaming the players for picking such bad boxes. Being given an offer of £199 by the Banker, Nan accepted the offer happily, having already cheated and looked in her box (number 1) and found it only to contain £50. This special was one of many Catherine Tate specials made for Comic Relief. The sketch was only a few minutes long, but was visually almost identical to a normal episode of the show. While the five "contestants" who actually opened boxes were actors and actresses, the remaining contestants who appeared in the sketch were the real contestants who were filming at the time, and appeared in episodes broadcast in April and May 2007.
2006. The day's player was selected randomly in a draw by Laura Pearce, the only contestant to have won the top prize on the show at that time, who was among the previous contestants in the audience for the show. The contestant who played was Annie who won £10,000 (despite taking out the £500,000 in the first box [number 3]).

Each box would be numbered 1 or 2 and inside it would say either "Trick" or "Treat". The player must then choose a box and then which ever word was in the box would affect the rest of the game.
If the box read:
Trick: The Banker
would get to choose any box still in the game and look inside it to know its contents. Nobody else would get to know what was inside the selected box, giving the Banker an advantage (although this never happened, as all of the five players ended up choosing the "Treat" box).
Treat: The player would automatically win £1,000, which would be added to their prize (reducing the threat of the 1p prize). For example, if the player won £15,000, they would leave with £16,000. They would also be given an offer from the Banker after every box opened, an unusual deviation from the standard format of making an offer every three boxes.

If the box read:
Scrooge
The Banker would be able to look inside two of the four remaining boxes in the game or look inside the player's box. In this case, the player would be allowed to swap their box.
Santa
The player gets to place their hand in the giant turkey and remove a small box, with bonus cash inside of either £250 or £1,000.
On 16 May, the final day of the themed week, the Banker threw a party in the studio, which was suitably decorated for the occasion, and every contestant was dressed in a fancy dress costume with Edmonds dressed up as Captain Jack Sparrow
from the Pirates of the Caribbean
trilogy. 11 out of 16 members of the 1p club were also present, and during each phone call from the Banker, they received party food such as sausages on sticks, jelly and ice cream. However, at the end, the Banker sent them each a bill, charging £9.50 for the service.
* Zoe and Zara actually won £3,000, as it was in their box. But the Banker phoned back and said they could have £3,000 each on the last special show.
There are two suitcases which are to be opened when a contestant that week choses one of them when they reach the last five-box stage of the game. Inside one case it says "Sunshine" and in the other case it says "Sunburn". If the contestant chooses the case which has "Sunshine" in it, they will get a holiday for two and will have an offer given to them by the Banker after each box they open. However, if they open the case with "Sunburn" in it, the Banker will have a look inside the contestant's box to know its contents, taken away and returned by Chivers and the game will continue as usual.
* Even though he chose "Sunburn", William was given a holiday to Jamaica
after the game because it was the last show of the season.

In the East corner of the studio lay a gravestone and a coffin, one of which contained a "Treat" and the other contained a "Trick". The consequences of the "Trick" and the "Treat" are very similar to those of last year's Halloween Week.

Trick: The Banker would get to look inside the player's box to know its contents. Nobody else would get to know what was inside the box, giving the Banker an advantage (but again this never happened, because all of the players who got to the five-box stage managed to find the "Treat").
Treat: The player would automatically win a holiday which would be separate from their prize. In addition, they would also be given an offer from the Banker after every box opened.
* Because Chris dealt before the five-box stage on 30 October because the Banker said that we would "never know" whether Chris would have chosen the "Trick" or the "Treat".
If the player chose:
Scrooge: The Banker would get to look inside the player's box to know its contents taken to the Banker by the Ugly Snowman. Nobody else would get to know what was inside the box, giving the Banker an advantage, but a swap at the end is guaranteed.
Santa: The player gets to place their hand in the giant turkey and remove a small box, which contains a holiday destination. The player wins a holiday for two at the destination. In addition, the player gets an offer after every box in the final round.
The average payout over the eight Scrooge versus Santa shows was £41,945, making this the most successful bunch of Special Shows ever in terms of money given away.

In addition, as soon as that person opened their box, the player would immediately receive an offer from the Banker.

The additional £35,000 marks the first time ever that there have been two of the same amount on the "Deal or No Deal" board.
* In Tony's game, he went to the end and won £750. However, the Banker offered Tony the opportunity to give the £750 back and open two of the three eggs. If he found the good egg amongst the two that he selected, he would win £5,000, but if he failed to find the good egg, he would become the second player to go home with nothing. He found the good egg in his second choice and so won £5,000.
** Daimon opened his box and won £5,000, but the Banker said that if he gave it back, he could choose two eggs and if he found the good egg, he could double the sum to £10,000. However, if he found both bad eggs, he would leave with nothing. He left as the second player ever to leave with nothing, as he found both of the bad eggs.
and the players are dressed as clowns. In one corner of the studio, there were four clown heads, three of which had "Phoney" written on their tongues and one of which had "Funny" written on its tongue. At the five-box stage, the player had to find the clown whose tongue had "Funny" written on it.

The player gets an offer after every box opened and are guaranteed the swap at the end.
Phoney
Every time the player finds a Phoney tongue then the Banker gets to look inside the boxes on the wings.
* Although Liam found no 'Phoney' clowns, he accepted an offer from the Banker which let the Banker look in one of the boxes in return for telling Liam what the next offer would be if he removed a blue.
If the player finds:
Raindrops: Beneath the ice cream, The Banker would get to look inside the player's box to know its contents, taken away and returned by Chivers. Nobody else will get to know what was inside the box, giving the Banker an advantage.
Sunshine: Beneath the ice cream, The player would automatically win a holiday courtesy of icelolly.com and get an offer after every box.

Trick: The Banker would get to look inside the player's box to know its contents taken to the Banker by Sir Dealalot of the Pound Table. Nobody else would get to know what was inside the box, giving the Banker an advantage.
Treat: The player would automatically win a holiday courtesy of icelolly.com and get an offer after every box.
* Although Gary chose Grandmama and found a Treat, the Banker offered to look inside Gary's box. Gary agreed, and the Banker saw £750 inside the box.

The hour-long specials included clips from previous Christmas-themed episodes of Deal or No Deal before each break.
* Franny was given the opportunity to double or half is money. He was allowed four attempts at throwing a snowball into a chimney. If he successfully threw one into the chimney, he would double his money but if all four attempts failed his winnings would be halved. Franny declined this opportunity, which was called the 'Banker's Christmas Gamble'.

At the start of the game, the chosen player must select a fellow player in the wings to be their Love God or Goddess. That player must then sit in the throne with their box beside them. At any point in the game the player can choose to open the Love God/Goddess's box, and they will receive an offer from the Banker immediately afterwards. In addition, if the Love God or Goddess can correctly predict the contents of their box they win a holiday courtesy of icelolly.com. However this only applies if the game is still in live play.
* Emiliana originally had Box 3, but because Davey thought that might contain a big amount, The Banker allowed him to switch the Love Box for another box in the wings. Box 3 was subsequently swapped for Box 13.
, the players are dressed as other Alice in Wonderland characters and the boxes were a chocolate white colour. There are three Cheshire cats
two of them are "Unhappy" and one of them is "Happy". The player has to find the one "Happy" Cheshire cat as quickly as possible because for every failed attempt,

The Unhappy Cheshire cat The game will continue or end with the same offer as usual.
The Happy Cheshire cat in the player’s 1st selection The player's offer will double or triple.
* Brenda opened her box and won £5,000, but the Banker said that if she gave it back, she could choose two Cheshire cats and if she found the happy Cheshire cat, she could triple the sum to £15,000. However, if she found both unhappy Cheshire cats, she would leave with nothing. She left as the second female player ever to leave with nothing, as she found both of the unhappy Cheshire cats.
(The cops on the west wing and the robbers on the east wing). There are 2 "Win" items and 2 "Lose" items.
Cops
The player chooses between police box A or B and if they find Win they get an offer after every box.
Robbers
The player chooses between safe A or B and if they find Win they get a a holiday.
* Because Safina chose the Cops and the Robbers at five-box stage she found both "Win" items making her go forward one box at a time and win the holiday to the Algarve courtesy of icelolly.com.
** Although Craig chose the Cops at five-box stage he won the holiday to Greece courtesy of icelolly.com.
Desert Island: The player's offer will be halved.
Treasure Island: The player's offer will double.
* Dai didn't find £5 until the end and did not deal because the Banker said that we would "never know" whether the bottles' notes show either "Desert Island" or "Treasure Island".
** Although Haj didn't deal, he found no "Desert Island" notes and went forward one box at a time. He won two holiday destinations courtesy of icelolly.com because it was the last show of the season.
These will be repeats of Noel's all-time favourite games from April 2008 to July 2010 which include a short introduction from Noel at the beginning in an empty Dream Factory and all games from 2010 along with the Love week, Easter special and Bankers Birthday week games all seemed to avoided the hall of fame that time.

If the player chose:
Trick: The Banker would get to look inside the player's box to know its contents taken away and returned by The Tree spirit's son. Nobody else would get to know what was inside the box, giving the Banker an advantage but a swap at the end is guaranteed.
Treat: The player would automatically win a holiday courtesy of icelolly.com and get an offer after every box.
In the east corner of the studio, there was a VIP area where the chosen contestant and various contestants from every year of the show sat. At the beginning of the game, the player selected a fellow contestant to go and sit in the VIP area; their box was then given to Noel, who was the owner of the box. At any point during the game the player decided to open Noel's box, then they would get an offer after opening it. There was also a chance to win a VIP holiday if the people in the VIP area correctly guessed its contents.
At five-box, the player can choose the red snowman, yellow snowman, or green snowman. If the player finds:
Scrooge: The Banker gets to look in their box to know its contents taken away and returned by the Ugly Polar Bear. Nobody else would get to know what was inside the box, giving the Banker an advantage, but a swap at the end is guaranteed.
Santa: The player is given an offer after every box in the final round.
There are also three gift boxes in the corner. If the player finds the one 'WIN' box, they will win one of the 'Twelve Holidays of Christmas'.
* Jay won £1,000 from his box, but the Banker phoned back and said that he could open one gift box. If he found the 'WIN', he'd get £15,000 (originally £10,000) and a holiday. If he found one of the 'LOSE's, he'd get nothing. He became the fifth UK player to leave with nothing, as he found one of the 'LOSE' boxes.
** Daniel dealt at £10,000 and a gift box. At the end, Daniel selected one of the 'LOSE' boxes. The banker then offered the Banker's Christmas Gamble, letting him try to locate the 'WIN' a second time. If he found it, the banker would double his money to £20,000, but if the other 'LOSE', his winnings would be reduced to £4,000 (his original target). Daniel accepted the gamble and chose the 'WIN' box, and so Daniel won £20,000 and a trip for 2 people in Tunisia.
*** Brian dealt at £8,250 and one gift box, but after finding one of the 'LOSE' boxes, the Banker asked how much of his money he'd be prepared to give back for another chance to find the 'WIN'. He gave back £250, and subsequently found the 'WIN' and since Daniel won £20,000 and a holiday happened winning him the trip for 2 people to Fuerteventura.
The content of the Christmas Star was never revealed until the last show of the specials. On the last show of the specials, the banker asked the contestants in the wings to predict what was behind the star and that if they guessed correctly they would win £1,500. A player guessed correctly and won £1,500. This was the only time to date that a contesant other than the player won money.
* Although Vicki correctly predicted the contents of her box, she didn't get a holiday because Charlotte had already dealt.
** Left with £1 and £10, Darrel was given a chance to win a holiday if he could predict what was in his box. If he got it right, he'd get the holiday; if he was wrong, he'd get nothing. He guessed £1, but had £10 in his box and since Jay's game it made him the sixth UK player to leave empty-handed.
Cowboys
The player must get at least 1 of 3 tincans inside the mouth of the Cowboy from the sherrifs badge on the floor (they must keep one foot on it at all times) to win the holiday and the chance to proceed one box at a time. If they fail and get no tin cans inside the mouth then the Banker will get the opportunity to look inside the players box with a swap at the end guaranteed.
Indians
The player chooses cloud A, B or C (behind one is Fire and behind the other two are Smoke). If the player finds Fire then they get the holiday and the opporunity to go forward one box at a time. If they find the Smoke then the game will still continue as usual.
* Wilf was the only Cowboy in the east wing and was selected on the first special show but dealt before five-box meaning the Banker never knew whether he either chose the Cowboys or Indians.
** Suzanne asked if her partner could throw the cans for her. The Banker agreed, but also allowed him two extra cans.
*** Harry dealt before five-box, meaning the Banker never knew if he'd have picked the Cowboys or the Indians.
4 shots
The player has four opportunities to get a holiday (only one of the paper balls has to go in). If they miss on all four shots then there is no downside and they carry on as normal.
2 shots
The player has two opportunities to get a holiday and the chance to proceed one box at a time (only one of the paper balls has to go in). If they miss then the banker gets to look inside the players box.
* Jade initially dealt £11,000 at 8-box. But she later asked if she could have a go on the catapult anyway. The Banker agreed, provided she give him £1,000 back. If she got one in, she'd get doubled to £20,000. But she missed both even though the Banker did not have the chance to look inside her box, so she went away with £10,000.
* Vera was offered a Banker Proporsition in honour of Mother's Day. If she'd had £100 in her box, the banker would give her an extra £1,000 to the £100 making it £1,100 but if she had the £10 then she'd go away empty-handed.
Various past players were brought back to open boxes on the live shows. The contestant each day brought members of their family and friends along to support them and also to open boxes. Occasionally, members of the public, found on location were invited by Noel to attend a game as box openers. Tom Fletcher and Oliver Phelps were invited by The Banker himself to attend a live show. Viewers were encouraged to "tweet" The Banker (via Twitter
) and to influence his offers during the live shows.
* Steph was surprised live on the final show.
4 shots
The player has four opportunities to get a holiday (only one of the brains has to go in). If they miss on all four shots then there is no downside and they carry on as normal.
2 shots
The player has two opportunities to get a holiday and the chance to proceed one box at a time (only one of the brains has to go in). If they miss then the banker gets to look inside the players box.
* Jess initially dealt £13,013 at 11-box, with a guarantee from the Banker that she could have a go on the catapult anyway. She was allowed as many shots as she wanted, but she had to give £250 back for every shot. If she got one in, she'd win the holiday. She had one shot, but failed, so she left with £12,763.
** Nick initially dealt £10,000 at 8-box. At the end of the game, the Banker said he could have a go on the catapult; he had to give back £1,000, but he'd get doubled to £20,000 if he got one in. He failed, and thus went home with £9,000.
*** Parvinder dealt at 8-box; thus the catapult was not used.

Season one
During season one, there were no major alterations to any games, but there were a few shows which featured aesthetic changes and bonus prizes. For example, a romantic spa break was awarded to a player on Valentine's Day.In addition, "Double Deal Week" took place from 12 June to 17 June 2006. Before any boxes were opened, The Banker called and said that he wanted to make sure that he had the right "Noel" as Culshaw and Edmonds were almost identical with their matching outfits. The Banker also said that if the 1p was found in the first round, then he would give £250 to each contestant and a bottle of champagne to each member of the audience, as he had offered before in the 250th show. David Jones, the player, found the 1p in the second box.

In the game itself, the player, David Jones, was left with £10,000 and £250,000 on the game board in the closing stages. The Banker's final offer was £70,000 and Edmonds explained to Jones that the Banker was "testing his skill", as many would expect a higher offer in this position. Jones decided not to take the risk and dealt. In the event, his box contained £10,000.

During these Christmas specials, one of the boxes contained £500,000, with the £15,000 box being removed for this purpose, therefore doubling the value of the top prize. The two players selected for these shows were chosen by the contestants themselves in a vote; footage of the contestants finding out they would be playing for £500,000 was shown.
The Banker also promised that when the player was down to the last 4 boxes, he would make them an offer after each of the remaining boxes was opened.
For the episode in the afternoon of 26 December, the 1p box was removed and replaced with a box containing "PEANUTS". Peanuts

Being given an offer of £199 by the Banker, Nan accepted the offer happily, having already cheated and looked in her box (number 1) and found it only to contain £50. This special was one of many Catherine Tate specials made for Comic Relief. The sketch was only a few minutes long, but was visually almost identical to a normal episode of the show. While the five "contestants" who actually opened boxes were actors and actresses, the remaining contestants who appeared in the sketch were the real contestants who were filming at the time, and appeared in episodes broadcast in April and May 2007.

When five boxes remained (including the player's box), Edmonds would have to go and open the coffin, which would reveal two more boxes inside. Each box would be numbered 1 or 2 and inside it would say either "Trick" or "Treat". The player must then choose a box and then which ever word was in the box would affect the rest of the game.

They would also be given an offer from the Banker after every box opened, an unusual deviation from the standard format of making an offer every three boxes.

Second Anniversary Special
On 3 November 2007, the show celebrated its second anniversary, although it was three days after the actual anniversary (31 October). All amounts in the boxes were doubled, so the player could win anything from 2p to £500,000. The 22 contestants this time voted for a player to be selected for this show and chose contestant Helen Burton Marget, who went on to decline the final offer of £7,000 and the subsequent swap. The final remaining values were £200 and £30,000. The contestant's box (number 19) contained £200. In the week before Christmas 2007 (17 December to 22 December), a special Scrooge versus Santa version of the game was played. From the week beginning 24 December 2007, Deal or No Deal gave the chance for six extraordinary people the chance to win up to £250,000. These six shows were filmed separate to their normal shows and did not have contestants on the wings. Instead, they had 22 family members and friends who opened the boxes for the contestant. Also, the contestant who was playing had their free choice on the box they wanted to play with. At the end of each game, "Deal or No Deal" gave gifts to the contestant and a trophy displaying that they were a "Deal or No Deal Christmas Star". Easter Specials 2008
The four shows from 20 March to 24 March 2008 were Easter Specials. The studio and boxes were decorated accordingly, but the major change came in the form of three giant eggs, numbered 1 to 3. One of them was a good egg, while the other two were bad eggs. Throughout the games, the Banker would use these eggs to add another dimension to the offers. For the few shows leading up to these specials, one part would end with Matty Curcillo, a player from the wings informing the viewers of the exciting upcoming Easter Specials. Banker's Birthday Week 2008: Books and Cards
For the five episodes from 12 May to 16 May 2008, the Banker celebrated his birthday week. At the side of the studio, a fire place stood with a mantelpiece. On the mantelpiece lay four birthday cards, one of the birthday cards was sent by the Banker's mother and contained a £5 book token. The other three cards the Banker sent himself and contained nothing, except a "Happy Birthday to me" message. If the player managed to pick the card with the £5 book token, then the player would receive an offer after every box opened in the final round. If the player picked one of the "Happy Birthday to me" cards, then nothing was affected. But, if during the game the player managed to produce an all blue or an all red round, then the Banker would reveal one of the cards that does not have the token in it.On 16 May, the final day of the themed week, the Banker threw a party in the studio, which was suitably decorated for the occasion, and every contestant was dressed in a fancy dress costume with Edmonds dressed up as Captain Jack Sparrow

Seaside Specials 2008: Summer Specials
From 21 July until 25 July 2008, a run of Seaside Specials was shown. In these shows, the studio decorated as an airport, the contestants dressed in holiday-themed clothes and Noel Edmonds dressed as an aeroplane captain. The game continued as usual, but with one twist.There are two suitcases which are to be opened when a contestant that week choses one of them when they reach the last five-box stage of the game. Inside one case it says "Sunshine" and in the other case it says "Sunburn". If the contestant chooses the case which has "Sunshine" in it, they will get a holiday for two and will have an offer given to them by the Banker after each box they open. However, if they open the case with "Sunburn" in it, the Banker will have a look inside the contestant's box to know its contents, taken away and returned by Chivers and the game will continue as usual.

The consequences of the "Trick" and the "Treat" are very similar to those of last year's Halloween Week.

Third Anniversary Special
"Deal or No Deal" celebrated its third anniversary on 7 November 2008, although its actual third birthday was on 31 October. The show started with three Edmonds' introducing the programme, then the selected player was Andy. As well as the usual aesthetic changes, there was also a giant cake with three candles - one yellow, one green and one blue - in the corner of the studio. From the third offer onwards, the three candles were involved in the offers. One of the candles had a hidden gold base, while the other two had a black base. If Andy were to say Deal and managed to select the gold-based candle, his winnings would be doubled. Andy remained in play until the sixth offer of £50,000, which he accepted, although despite being given two opportunities to find the gold-based candle, he was unable to locate it, so his winnings remained at £50,000. He also failed to claim the £250,000, which was revealed to be in his box (number 5).Santa vs Scrooge 2008
Scrooge versus Santa has returned for eight shows, beginning on 15 December. Aesthetic alterations to the studio include a giant turkey (named Eamonn like last year), a Christmas tree and Christmas decorations, while the players wore appropriate costumes and the boxes were given a festive makeover. If the player gets to the five-box stage in live play, then they go over to the Christmas tree, which yields twelve baubles; six concealing Santa and six concealing Scrooge. New Year's Eve Special
A special New Year's Eve edition aired on 31 December 2008. For this occasion, the boxes were coloured gold. At one corner of the studio stood a quartet named the "No Deal Knights", and they played music at the end and beginning of each part. At the end of the show, the quartet performed a song they had written titled "An All Blue Round" while a montage of the year's highlights was shown. In the game itself, the player, Carrie, won £41,000 after dealing with £35,000 and £50,000 still in play with two boxes remaining. Build-up
From the 990th show to the 993rd show, there were short clips just before the second advertisement breaks of past players announcing when the build-up episodes will begin. The build-up shows began on 25 March 2009. For these shows, the studio has been decorated with a red carpet and the pilgrims are entirely made up of past players, the boxes are glittery red and the backdrop of the game board is gold. The £1,000 has been removed from the board and has been replaced by various gold sums of money, starting with £25,000 in the first show and increasing by £5,000 in each successive show up to £50,000 in the last build-up show. The 1,000th episode of "Deal or No Deal" aired on 1 April 2009. The two previous winners of £250,000, Laura and Alice, were amongst the past players in the audience, and the crazy chair and phone were both gold. For this milestone show, the £1,000 was replaced by a second £250,000 box. Similar to the Seaside Specials of 2008, this week celebrated the final week of the fourth season of Deal or No Deal. It ran from 20 July to 24 July. Noel's Hall of Fame
At the end of season 4, Deal or No Deal took its traditional summer break which lasted four weeks. During the first week, the slot was filled with normal Deal or No Deal repeats, but during the other three weeks, Noel's Hall of Fame was shown. These are repeats of Noel's all-time favourite games which include a short introduction from Noel at the beginning in an empty Dream Factory. Although the episodes are supposed to be Noel's 'all time' favourites, only episodes which didn't feature the viewer competition i.e. episodes broadcast after 24 September 2007 were chosen and hence there were no season 1 or 2 games and the Trick or Treat games seemed to avoided Noel's Hall of Fame that year.The following games were shown:

Trick or Treat 2009
The 2009 Trick or Treat specials took place on the week beginning 26 October. During the shows, the studio was decorated to resemble a haunted house, while the boxes were a ghostly white colour. Noel and the players were dressed in suitable ghostly attire, and a portrait of all 24 members of the 1p club was also present. In one corner of the studio was a fireplace which featured the ashes of the Banker's grandma and grandpa. In one of the urns was a Treat, while the other urn contained a Trick. Fourth Anniversary Special
The fourth birthday celebrations took place on Monday 2 November 2009. In the corner of the studio lay a giant birthday cake with four candles in it (one yellow, one green, one blue and one purple). One of the candles had a hidden gold plating. The Banker explained that if the player were to accept an offer, then at the end of the game the player's winnings would be doubled if they could find the gold-plated candle. The player was Roy, who at five-box accepted an offer of £1,500 and three candles. However, the Banker also said that instead of doubling his winnings, finding the gold candle would actually quadruple them. New Year's Day Special
An hour-long edition aired on New Year's Day 2010. This episode marked the introduction of new graphics, both onscreen and on the studio gameboard. At the start of the game, the Banker phoned to say that if the player, Haz, found the 1p or any amount with a 10 in it in the opening round he would give everyone in the studio a bottle of champagne. However, this didn't happen. Haz dealt at £12,000 and was offered the Banker's Gamble at the end, but Haz chose to keep the £12,000. Seaside Specials 2010: Desert Island Deal
Similar to the Seaside Specials of 2009 but on 19 July 2010, the seaside specials would be based on desert islands. The boxes would look wooden, the game board's backdrop is blue again, the contestants are dressed as Robinson Crusoe characters and Noel is dressed as a hermit. If the player finds the 1p or the 10p in the opening rounds a holiday destination is won courtesy of icelolly.com but if the £100,000 or the £250,000 is taken out in the opening round the game will still continue as usual. The player also chooses between the red note, the blue note and the yellow note in 3 different bottles one item contains the "Treasure Island" the others contain the "Desert Island". week again. Edmonds and the players were dressed in Halloween style outfits and the dream factory was also decorated as The Dark Woods. In the East corner of the studio stood a tree, one of the eyes contained a "Treat" and the other contained a "Trick". When five boxes remained (including the player's box), the player then chose either the red eye or the green eye. The consequences of the "Trick" and the "Treat" were very similar to those of last year's Halloween Week.
If the player chose:
Trick: The Banker would get to look inside the player's box to know its contents taken away and returned by The Tree spirit's son. Nobody else would get to know what was inside the box, giving the Banker an advantage but a swap at the end is guaranteed.
Treat: The player would automatically win a holiday courtesy of icelolly.com and get an offer after every box.

Fifth Anniversary Special
From 22 November to 26 November 2010, Deal or No Deal celebrated its fifth birthday (the actual birthday was on 31 October 2010, which was the Halloween Special).In the east corner of the studio, there was a VIP area where the chosen contestant and various contestants from every year of the show sat. At the beginning of the game, the player selected a fellow contestant to go and sit in the VIP area; their box was then given to Noel, who was the owner of the box. At any point during the game the player decided to open Noel's box, then they would get an offer after opening it. There was also a chance to win a VIP holiday if the people in the VIP area correctly guessed its contents.

Santa vs Scrooge 2010
The Santa vs Scrooge 2010 began on December 20, 2010 with Noel dressed as a green soldier, and the players dressed in red Santa costumes.At five-box, the player can choose the red snowman, yellow snowman, or green snowman. If the player finds:
Scrooge: The Banker gets to look in their box to know its contents taken away and returned by the Ugly Polar Bear. Nobody else would get to know what was inside the box, giving the Banker an advantage, but a swap at the end is guaranteed.
Santa: The player is given an offer after every box in the final round.
There are also three gift boxes in the corner. If the player finds the one 'WIN' box, they will win one of the 'Twelve Holidays of Christmas'.

The content of the Christmas Star was never revealed until the last show of the specials. On the last show of the specials, the banker asked the contestants in the wings to predict what was behind the star and that if they guessed correctly they would win £1,500. A player guessed correctly and won £1,500. This was the only time to date that a contesant other than the player won money.
Love Week 2011
Deal or No Deal is celebrating Love Week between 14 and 20 February 2011. Noel and the contestants are The Knights of the Pound Table as the Dream Factory is transformed into the Castle of Dreams for a week of medieval-themed shows and the boxes are a historical silver colour. Banker's Birthday Week 2011: Cowboys and Indians
Between 9 and 15 May 2011, Deal or No Deal will be celebrating the Banker's Birthday Week dressed up as Cowboys and Indians with the return of the wooden looking boxes. Split into two halves, the ‘Wild West Wing’ will dress up as Cowboys and the East Wing get to be Indians. As ever, Noel will oversee proceedings in style, as he spends half the week as a sheriff and the other half as a chief!Cowboys
The player must get at least 1 of 3 tincans inside the mouth of the Cowboy from the sherrifs badge on the floor (they must keep one foot on it at all times) to win the holiday and the chance to proceed one box at a time. If they fail and get no tin cans inside the mouth then the Banker will get the opportunity to look inside the players box with a swap at the end guaranteed.
Indians
The player chooses cloud A, B or C (behind one is Fire and behind the other two are Smoke). If the player finds Fire then they get the holiday and the opporunity to go forward one box at a time. If they find the Smoke then the game will still continue as usual.

Live Shows
From 10–23 October 2011, Deal or No Deal would be broadcast LIVE for the first time. However in a new twist to the show, Noel would be making his way around the country, knocking on doors to surprise the contestants.Various past players were brought back to open boxes on the live shows. The contestant each day brought members of their family and friends along to support them and also to open boxes. Occasionally, members of the public, found on location were invited by Noel to attend a game as box openers. Tom Fletcher and Oliver Phelps were invited by The Banker himself to attend a live show.
