base. It is manufactured by Decosystems, which is a division of California Products Corporation which also manufactures Plexipave, based in Andover

.
The surface is currently in use at the US Open where it has recently started to leak water from underneath the court itself, the ATP World Tour Masters 1000
events at Canada Masters
and Cincinnati Masters
, as well the US Open Series tournaments. DecoTurf was used in the 2008 Olympics

Compared to Rebound Ace
, which was previously used for the Australian Open
from 1988 until 2007 but has since been replaced, tennis balls slow down slightly less upon impact with DecoTurf and bounce slightly lower. This probably explains why serve-and-volley players such as Stefan Edberg

, and Patrick Rafter
had more success at events held on DecoTurf than at other hardcourt events.
