Dehl Berti was an Italian American actor who often played native Americans, perhaps best known for his appearance on the American TV show Paradise
(which also starred Lee Horsley
) in the late 1980s. He was born in Pueblo, Colorado
, USA on January 17, 1921, and was married to Turkish
actress Zerrin Arbaş, and was the father of late actress Derya Arbaş.
Berti made regular appearances on television shows from the 1950s through the 1980s, primarily in westerns such as Bonanza
and Gunsmoke
, but in other roles as well. His final appearance was on Saved by the Bell
in 1990. He died of a heart attack at the age of 70 on November 26, 1991.
