The council consists of a multi-party cabinet led by Councillor Hugh Evans, Independent Member for Llanfair Dyffryn Clwyd/Gwyddelwern. The current Cabinet includes the highest number of women Councillors - 4 out of 9 posts - in Denbighshire's history.
One Liberal Democrat councillor sits as part of the Independent grouping. Two councillors elected as Labour do not sit with any group.
