Derek Glynn is a Irish football player and plays as a striker.
He joined Galway United
in 2007 from Claremorris AFC where he was top scorer in the Mayo
league for 3 consecutive years earning him recognition as a striker with a keen eye for goal. Was the SWAI Player of the Month in June 2007 http://www.fai.ie/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=4200&Itemid=136. His first League of Ireland

Glynn went on to join Longford Town in for the 2009 First Division campaign. He finished Longford's top goalscorer for the 2009 season scoring 15 goals in 35 league and cup appearances. He was released after the 2010 season.
Glynn is now back playing with Claremorris A.F.C.
