A software design document is a written description of a software product, that a software designer writes in order to give a software development team an overall guidance of the architecture of the software project. An SDD usually accompanies an architecture diagram with pointers to detailed...

 is stable reference, and outling all parts of a software system, their individual operation as well as their interaction. The document should give a fairly complete description while maintaining a high-level view of the software.

Design document listing is a usage based list available for the connvenience of the developers. It acts as a "to-do List" for the software developers. As a result the Client side team can receive the requirements that can be used for User Acceptance Testing.
