Reception

The change in sound generated mostly positive reviews. Detach Me From My Head made the No. 1 spot for the Top 10 best albums of 2010 by Darklands (radio-shadowplay). The album also made 7th place on Dark Entries' Top 10 of 2010. The album came in on Musicfolio's Top 20 of 2010 for Gothic, Darkwave, Synthpop & Industrial. The album also reached Gothic Paradise's Top 10 of 2010. It was also chosen as one of the best albums of 2010 by Gothic Austria.

The title track debuted at No.1 on the Top 20 at Global Gothic Chart for October 2010., remaining on the list through 2011. The track was also #10 on the Darkwave Top 30 on NRJ Lebanon.

"I'm A Brutal Little Boy" was the 2nd best song of 2010 according to Darklands' Top 10 songs of 2010. It also reached 6th place on Darklands' Top 20 tracks for December 2010.

Also on October 2010, "This World Starves for Lonely Girls" charted #8 on All-Rock&Metal Top 10 Songs.
