Dimitri B. Papadimitriou (born 1946) is a Greek American
economist. He has been the Executive Vice President and Provost, and Jerome Levy Professor of Economics, at Bard College
since 1977.
, Greece, in 1946. He received his BA from Columbia College, Columbia University, in 1970, and his PhD in economics from the New School for Social Research in 1986.
