Early Life

Coming from a small city, he always had a passion for acting. Since childhood he has been involved in school drama, inter-school competitions and at college earned scholarship through the same. His parents never opposed his wishes.

Career

He started his career with theatre, and took active part in Majma and Ekjute theatre groups, respectively. He became a household face with television commercials. Dinesh Kaushik has been the face for leading brands in the 1980s, including Cadbury, Thumbs Up, Tree Top, Keo-Karpin, Mayur Suitings, Vicks, Hero Honda Motor Bikes, Surf, and Girnar Tea. He moved his concentration towards television serials and movies. He has appeared in T series video album Main pardesi hoon, which is a big hit among devotional songs.
