"Diskomo" was a 12-inch single
of elements from the 1979 album Eskimo
by the Residents
put to a disco
beat, released on March 26, 1980. The b-side was a special suite of nursery rhymes put together as "Goosebump".
Although the album was originally a traditional 12-inch single, the CD release on the Dutch
label Torso Records in 1990 deleted 'Goosebump' entirely and replaced it with the songs "Whoopy Snorp", "Saint Nix" and a live version of "Diskomo". The original versions of "Diskomo" and "Goosebump", along with a number of remixes, remakes and live versions, were compiled on Diskomo 2000 in 2000.
