Dodge Meadowbrook

The Dodge Meadowbrook was produced by Dodge and offered as the base line trim level from 1949-1954. It made up 30% of Dodge's sales in 1949, and came with "Safe-Guard Hydraulic Brakes" which included 2-cylinders per front brake. Dodge also advertised a new "cradled" ride, which was supposedly was softer than all the others makers cars. In 1950, the six-cylinder was called the "Get-Away" engine. It had a 42.7 ft (13 m) turning circle. In 1952, the Meadowbrook made up 32.50% of Dodge's sales. 1953, a two door model was added. 1954 was the last year of the Meadowbrook, and it had a new Powerflite automatic.External links
