Services
Opened in 1907 it originally had two platforms but in 1979 the line was singled and the down platform was abandoned with all trains now using the former up platform. This is now a limited service station as it serves only a handful of houses (Doleham takes its name from Doleham Farm). Nonetheless the area is popular with walkers at weekends; prior to December 2005 the station used to be served by an hourly service between Ashford and Hastings but stops here were reduced when this service was expanded to run through to Brighton due to both a lack of patronage, a desire to reduce journeys times on the longer distance Brighton service and a need to maintain schedules on the single track section of the Marshlink line between Appledore and Ore.Trains run to Hastings
