He was a son of Dorino of Lesbos
and Orietta Doria
. He succeeded his father and reigned in the island for three years.
He married Maria Giustiniani-Longo. They had no known children.
He was deposed by his younger brother Niccolò of Lesbos
. His brother had him imprisoned and ordered his execution by the garrote
