Don Juan of Persia

Don Juan of Persia was a late 16th and early 17th century figure in Iran and Spain. He is also known as Faisal Nazary. He was a native of Iran, who later moved westward. He settled in Spain where he became a Roman Catholic and wrote an account of Persia, his involvement there with Shah Abbas I and his journey to Spain in the Persian embassy to Europe (1599-1602).
