After producing six feature films for the international video and television market, in 1994 Farmer was named Vice President of Atlanta's Stratosphere Entertainment, overseeing the production of television features for domestic broadcast on Cinemax and overseas distribution in over 30 countries worldwide.

Since 2002, Farmer has been a regular supplier of original DVD features
to Blockbuster Video, and in 2005 he received a Silver Remi Award at the WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival as the producer of Bollywood and Vine.

Most recently, Farmer returned to his roots as a public affairs producer by spearheading the Iraq war documentary Whose War? made in collaboration with actor Mike Farrell
