Farmer soon made the transition from film publicity to television and film production. His first project was a one hour television forum titled An Evening With Al Gore for Tennessee
's WCTE-TV, providing the future Vice President with one of his first solo public interview specials during the early years of his political career.
After producing six feature films for the international video and television market, in 1994 Farmer was named Vice President of Atlanta's Stratosphere Entertainment, overseeing the production of television features for domestic broadcast on Cinemax and overseas distribution in over 30 countries worldwide.
Farmer has also produced or consulted on original short and long form programming for a list of clients that includes ABC
