The 6' 3" point guard/shooting guard from the University of North Carolina was the recipient of the NCAA Basketball Tournament Most Outstanding Player
Award when North Carolina won the 1993 NCAA National Championship. In the final game against the University of Michigan, Williams scored 25 points, hitting on five of his seven 3-point attempts.
After college, Williams went on to play professionally in countries such as Cyprus, Germany, Austria, Poland, France, Sweden, Finland, Greece, the Philippines, where he won a championship in 1998 as a player for Formula Shell, coached by Perry Ronquillo, and the Dominican Republic. Williams never made it to the National Basketball Association. He currently resides in Raleigh, North Carolina
