Dov Carmel is a composer and arranger.(b.Budapest 1932),who began producing compositions during the 1960's.
who he studied violin with at the age of nine,later studies having the interruption of the holocaust,between 1944–1945,being able to resume these studies after this time.Happily he won at a competition in Debrecen
,for young musicians. After this time his parental family moved to Kibbutz Dalya. An Aliyat Hanoar scholarship enabled him to continue his studies within Haifa. Living here he continued with studies at the Music Institute of Oranim Teachers' Seminary under the direction of Professor Abel Ehrlich and Professor Yizhak Sadai.
Between 1954-1971 he taught at several schools in Israel,1971-1992 at the Oranim Teacher seminary. He succeeded to win the Acum prize with his another with the Kibbutz cultural movement.
Carmel began composing music during his thirties',with a debut performance in Tel Aviv.
